American Women married to Pakistani

When Ebony Walton tried to obtain a marriage license last August so she could get hitched to her boyfriend of 18 years, she was flabbergasted to be denied by city officials, who claimed she was already married — to a Pakistani man she’d never met.

According to the city clerk’s office, Walton got hitched on Dec. 10, 1997, when she was just 18, to a man from Gujranwala, Pakistan.She complained that her cousin stolen her ID card and misused it. Court after hearing approved here new marriage.
